I am so very thankful that all my five children are healthy. We have had a few scares but in the end, they are all healthy, safe and sound. I used to be a Social Worker and had to deal with some traumatizing cases. I am also so very thankful that I have been able to be the best mom I can be, certainly not perfect, but perfect for my kids. Prior to being a Social Worker, I had higher expectations in life. I expected my children to someday be lawers and doctors. I expected life to be a rosy happy ever after. I learned from my work, to just love, nurture, and be thankful for the little things in life.
