In response to the blog questions this month of a decoration that 'just makes it feel' like the Holidays, this would be mine.
It's quite old....my grandmother had it when my mother was in high school and I am the lucky recipient on this family 'heirloom' made complete with pipe cleaners as the house trim ;) .... On the back it even states that it was made in Japan (not China). But as a child I remember this on the kitchen counter glowing in the darkness each evening during Christmastime. Now my children see this same wintertime scene each evening. Fun!
We need some solid color cuffs, but love them all!
We dont own any yet, so we’re anxious to try anything from the pomona line! Xmas lights are a must for our decorating, and our cookies are actually a toffee called Christmas Crack, can’t get enough of that stuff!
Our Christmas tree is my ultimate Christmas decoration. We are moving and all of our Christmas stuff is packed away because we expected to be in our new home by Christmas. I made sure my husband got a small tree and some $1 decorations from Target to decorate it this year.
In my house everyone always has a request for special Christmas cookies. I have to make coconut jam thumbprint cookies for my husband, peanut butter blossoms for my son and I love my white chocolate macadamia nut with dried cherries cookies.
I love the teal lattice jeans or the light grey Corduroy. They are all just too cute.
